Christmas in July!

We are in desperate need of donations for our Christmas in July auction!

During the winter months our donations are down due to high heating costs and electric bills. During the spring and summer months we have to make up for the shortage of funds during those hard months of winter.

We hold auctions on a monthly basis to ensure that our legacy animals have the funds that they need at any given time.

So be a hero to our legacy animal by donating, bidding and sharing!

Koda's Legacy auction

Our auction starts May 7, 2014 12 PM EST - May 12, 2014 9 PM EST

Don't miss out, we have MANY awesome items up for bid!

For every that is bid on and won you are being a hero to our legacy animals.

This allows us to bring in more animals that are in need of medical care. Animals that won't end up in shelters, animals that will not be euthanized for treatable medical issues simply because their families cannot afford their medical care.

So come on over and help our legacy animals receive medical care.

On March 18, 2014 our boy received his beautiful angel wings. We lost the most important part of Koda's Legacy.

Our hearts are broken beyond repair, after many years of illnesses and pulling him through, we unfortunately could not pull him through this last illness although we tried our hardest it was not meant to be.

The Last Battle




If it should be that I grow frail and weak And pain should keep me from my sleep, Then will you do what must be done, 

For this the last battle can't be won. You will be sad I understand, 

But don't let grief then stay your hand, For on this day, more than the rest, 

Your love and friendship must stand the test. We have had so many happy years, You wouldn't want me to suffer so. 

When the time comes, please, let me go. Take me to where to my needs they'll tend, Only, stay with me till the end And hold me firm and speak to me Until my eyes no longer see. 

I know in time you will agree It is a kindness you do to me. Although my tail its last has waved, From pain and suffering I have been saved. 

Don't grieve that it must be you Who has to decide this thing to do; We've been so close we two these years, Don't let your heart hold any tears. 

March Auction

We are always in need of donations for our auctions, so please when you are doing your spring cleaning and you find items that are new or used but like new and no longer want that item consider donating to Koda's Legacy! There is no cost out of your pocket for the winners pay for shipping cost, it will only take a few moments of your time is all and you can be a hero to our legacy animals.

Who do we have? 

We have Heidi who is a diabetic and requires daily medication of pills and insulin. Heidi is a service dog to her mom and human brother and needs to be in tip top health, so we are here to help them with this medical journey.

We have another pup in our organization that is in need of monthly medication in order to live. Rumble sadly has a heart condition and his outlook is grim but while he is with us he deserves to be comfortable.

These are only a few of the pups that we have helped, sadly some of our Legacy dogs have gone to the Rainbow bridge but they had the medical care that they needed because of Koda's Legacy!

We need you to help us help them! 

How can you us help them? This is how you can help! You can donate and item for an auction, you can donate much need money, you can share our auctions, you can help us get the word out!

If you have an item that you would like to donate please send us a photo and a brief description of the item to kodaslegacy@yahoo.com. No money ill come out of your pocket for the bidders pay the shipping cost of the item, the only thing is a little bit of time for packaging and mailing that is it, it is as simple as that and you will be helping us save an animal.
